Executive Coach, Principal Consultant & Polar Explorer/Adventurer

Mike is a highly experienced executive coach as well as a learning, development and change professional with a strong commercial/strategic background. He has 20 years’ experience, working around the globe with a range of multi-national companies and public sector organisations in various industries including Financial Services, Hi-Tech & Telecoms, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Pharma and Professional Services. Some of the organisations Mike has worked for include Yeo Valley, SK biotek, Jaguar Land Rover, Associated British Foods, Viacom, Paramount Pictures, Microsoft, Nokia, Siemens, NSN, HERE, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, Credit Agricole, Aspen Insurance, QFBA, EssoExxonMobil, BA, Unilever, John Lewis, Allen & Overy, DWP.

Mike has developed a multi-faceted skill base in individual 1:1 executive coaching, team coaching, leadership development, OD, talent management, change, marketing, programme and project management, as well as commercial business management.  He enjoys challenges which draw on this full range of capabilities and he has a proven track record of delivering results. While working within major businesses he has run multi-million pound organisational design and transformational programmes which delivered new target operating models both within the UK, across Europe and Globally. Working across complex environments he has managed to create shifts within individuals, teams and divisions that have helped transform organisational performance.

As a successful polar adventurer/explorer, Mike has led an expedition to the North Pole. He has subsequently delivered a number of motivational talks and after-dinner speeches for clients whilst also developing themes beyond motivation to include leadership, communication, process re-engineering and teambuilding.

Mike also holds a BSc in Management Science, is an MBTI accredited practitioner, EQi 2.0 and EQ 360 accredited practitioner, has a diploma in Performance Coaching for Business, is a qualified Team Coach, coach supervisor, holds a diploma in Professional Studies as well as being a PRINCE 2 qualified practitioner.

The skill sets Mike has acquired have enabled him to design and deliver bespoke interventions within organisations to enhance individual and collective performance, as well as the cross functional collaboration required to overcome recognised internal system issues.
